Understanding Strabismus
Strabismus, or squint, means the eyes point in different directions. It may be constant or intermittent and can affect children or adults.
Common signs
- One eye turning in, out, up or down
- Double vision
- Tilting the head or closing one eye
Assessment & care
An eye assessment checks alignment and vision in each eye. Options may include glasses, selected eye exercises or eye-muscle surgery. Associated amblyopia may also need treatment.
Your eye specialist will recommend care based on your examination. Contact the clinic to confirm treatment availability.
