Datta Netralaya, established by Dr. Prabhakar Patil has stood for excellence in eye care since 1981. Datta Netralaya has more than three decades of combined experienced hands in eye care. Datta Netralaya is the First Eye Hospital in Yavatmal to start sutureless cataract surgery by phacoemulsification (Year 2000) and topical (without injection) phacoemulsification surgery (Year 2002). Again our Hospital is the First in Yavatmal to introduce Abbott Sovereign Compact System Machine with Ellips FX Technology which provides Phacoemulsification with longitudinal and Transverse ultrasound. Dr.Piyush Patil joined Datta Netralaya in 2015 to carry on the legacy. He is credited with being the first surgeon in Yavatmal to perform Implantable Collamer Lens implantation and is the only one till date. He has performed the highest number of Multifocal Toric lens implantation in Vidarbha. He is also credited with the implantation of first Trifocal Intraocular lens implantation.
We are the first to install Optical Coherence Tomography machine for retinal check up and Glaucoma check up. We also have Perimetry for Glaucoma evaluation.
